Video: Tips and Tricks on making your own
Make your own custom sliding T bevel gauge with this brass hardware and blued spring steel blades.
Brass hardware contains 1/8″ thick x 1.080″ wide end protectors (rounded and square ends), 3/4″ M6 carriage bolt and 3/4″ diameter knurled knob. This hardware will work with gauges between 1/2″ and 5/8″ thick. The brass hardware is not required to make a gauge as one could be made with a hardware store screw and wing nut.
Blades are blued spring steel, 1″ wide, .040″ thick, contain a .29″ wide slot and have a 45 degree end.
