Description
Carvers screws are the perfect solution for holding odd-shaped work pieces when doing three-dimensional carvings. The tapered screw is threaded into a pre-drilled hole in the back of the work piece and tightened via a wrench or the square hole in the screw nut. The other end is placed through a hole in a workbench or table and secured in place with the large threaded wing nut. This 2 piece set contains one large screw and one small screw.
LARGE SCREW: Threaded rod is 5/8″ diameter and 9-1/2″ long. The threaded portion of the screw is 3″ long. Wing nut is 6-1/2″ long x 1″ wide by 3/16″ thick.
SMALL SCREW: Threaded rod is 1/2″ diameter and 6-3/4″ long. The threaded portion of the screw is 2-1/4″ long. Wing nut is 4-1/2″ long x 1″ wide by 3/16″ thick. Screw are brass plated.
