Featuring Fatigue Proof steel and carbide tipped cutting edges, the CMT roundover bits are long lasting, whether being used with man-made boards such as MDF, ply, particle board or solid timber. The quality of the carbide cutters give a decorative profiled edge quickly and efficiently.
Featuring a 1/2″ diameter bearing, to guide the bit along the material or template.
Shop tips:The CMT 1.6mm (1/16″) radius roundover bit is excellent for finishing laminates, giving a slightly rounded finish, almost eliminating the need to file the edge after using conventional trim bits.
Safety tips:use caution when working with large diameter bits and make more than one pass to gradually remove stock.
